WE CAN Founder and President, Stephanie McGencey, welcomed over 60 people to the launch party event in Washington, DC! The launch party event was held the night before the United State of Women Summit on June 13, 2016.

Launch party attendees were greeted by WE CAN Board members Kim Otis and Thomas Bowen; and long-time advocate for women of color and founder of Women’s Enews, Rita Henley Jensen.

WE CAN conducted an informal poll to determine which issues were most important to the participants. Economic security, health, and education all received top votes. Please continue to follow WE CAN as we educate, engage and activate women of color!
