Mobilize Monday: Protect Front Line Workers

wecanonlineMobilize Monday

Sisters,

For the next few weeks, the call to action shared every Monday will focus on meeting the urgent needs of the brave folks on the front lines of our nation’s coronavirus response.

Today, take a moment to Tweet to the president and DEMAND that his administration TAKE THE URGENT STEP to provide personal protective equipment to the nation’s front line workers.

There is NO REASON they should be in harm’s way and not have what they need to do their jobs, as safely as possible.

We know that the president uses Twitter as his primary mode of communication, so let’s talk to him in his language on that platform.

Please copy and post the following Tweet on your Twitter page as soon as you see this message.

@realDonaldTrump America’s health care workers, first responders, delivery drivers, and grocery store staff need PPE NOW. Show them you can be a man of your word and #GetthemPPE today!

If you don’t have a Twitter account, you go to the WE CAN Facebook page and like and share the pinned post to your page. Help WE CAN drown out some of the ‘positive’ feedback the president is getting from some of his followers.

The lives of THOUSANDS—I daresay millions-is at stake and WE CAN no longer afford to stand by while the administration unnecessarily risks lives.

Please follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines as much as you possibly can and stay safe in your homes. We WILL make it through this, if just stick together.

Sincerely,

Stephanie McGencey, WE CAN President and Founder
